The double arrow buttons next to the play button allow you to skip forward and backward in time in a track.

Tapping on these seek buttons advances or rewinds in the track by a set seek amount.

When the seek amount is set to 5 seconds, tapping the seek forward button will advance the play time by 5 seconds.

Seeking within a track

Changing the Seek Time in Settings

The default seek time is 5 seconds. To change the seek time of the player buttons, go to Settings by tapping the gear button at the top of the Editor.

Under editor controls, tap Seek Amount.

You can select 1, 2, 3, 5, 10, 20, 30 or 60 seconds for the seek time. The track will skip forward or backward in time by this amount when the seek buttons are tapped.
