The Library of Music Speed Changer contains songs and podcasts you have added to your library in the Apple Music app or purchased in iTunes Store. The Library is divided into two sections: Unlocked (fully editable) and Locked (tempo-change only).
Use the two buttons at the top of the Library screen to switch between the sections.

Unlocked Tracks
Unlocked tracks are DRM-free. All features of the app work with full quality.
Unlocked tracks are:
- Songs purchased and downloaded through the iTunes Store app.
- MP3, M4A, or other audio files you have manually added to Apple Music and downloaded on your device.
- MP3, M4A, or other audio files imported via the Files app and visible in Music Speed Changer. See Importing Files from Device and Cloud Providers for more details.
- Podcasts downloaded in the Apple Podcasts app.
Locked Tracks
Locked tracks are protected by DRM; only some features are available.
Locked tracks are any of the 90 million songs you add to your library through an Apple Music subscription.
- The only available effect is changing the playback speed without pitch shift (Tempo).
- Pause-at-end playback mode is not supported. See Playback Modes for more information about available modes.
- Shuffle mode is currently not supported.
- Queue operations (insert, move, delete) are not supported.
- The waveform view is a placeholder and does not match audio.
- Saving edited audio to a new file is not supported.
- Looping is not seamless.
- An internet connection is required, even for downloaded tracks.
- Purchasing an Unlocked Version
- Tap the lock or cloud icon next to any locked track to purchase an unlocked version from the iTunes Store. After purchase and download, the track appears under Unlocked Songs.
Dolby Atmos
Music Speed Changer plays locked tracks in Dolby Atmos if it is available.
