The quickest way to get started with Music Speed Changer is the Songs tab, which lists all the music on your device. The list is in alphabetical order by default.
Tap a song and it starts playing. Then tap or drag up the bar at the bottom of the screen to open the editor.
To change the pitch without changing the tempo, move the Pitch slider. The number shown is how many semitones the music is shifted by. To enter an exact value, tap the number. To go back to the original pitch, tap the reset button. Tempo works the same way.
To move to a different part of the track, drag along the waveform, or use the seek bar below it.
To loop a section, hold down the A button and release it where you want the loop to start. Then release the B button where you want the loop to end. The music now loops seamlessly between these two points. To remove the loop, tap the X to the right of the loop buttons.
The button in the bottom left sets the play mode. Playback can stop at the end of the current track, continue to the end of the playing queue, repeat the whole playing queue, or repeat just the current track. You can shuffle the playing queue with the button in the bottom right.
To create a new audio file with your adjustments, tap the ⋮ menu in the upper right of the editor and choose "Save edited track…". The file name and track title are filled in for you, but you can change them. Tap OK, and a notification shows the progress of the save. When it's finished, buttons in the notification let you share the new track or open it in Music Speed Changer or another music player.
You can also save just the looped part. Set the A and B loop points before saving, then tick "Save loop only" in the save dialog.
